I Miss Ya Dad

How are you all doing?
I wrote a while back around father's day. My intention was to have a colored drawing that goes with it. I just didn't get around to finish developing it. Anyways, I my father was a very inspiration figure in my life. As a child I can remember looking through some my dad’s paintings. I remember being amazed as I watched him work on his latest piece. I would say to myself, "I want to be just like him. Here is the poem that I wrote entitled, I miss ya Dad....

I often reminisce on the days gone pass
The days when I was a child
The moments I shared with my Dad

I miss those father and son conversations
I miss being called bighead and knucklehead
I miss going to the train station to pickup my Dad from work

I loved when we would go fishing
I loved when we would go draw together
I loved when we would play basketball

Those moments as a child
I will cherish forever
I miss you Dad.............
